Peter Dinklage Goes Bad Santa in Untitled Paramount Comedy

Peter Dinklage

Peter Dinklage, or better known as Tyrion Lannister in HBO's Game of Thrones, is set to play a man who goes around telling people he's a real leprechaun in an untitled comedy, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Andrew Dodge will write the script from his own pitch for Paramount. Besides this, Dodge also wrote the script for Jason Bateman's Bad Words, which had its premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in September this year.

According to sources, the movie is said to be rated R and is in the vein of Billy Bob Thornton's 2003 comedy Bad Santa. And speaking of which, this movie may even come out before Bad Santa 2, by the way things are going.

The movie is produced by Mary Parent and Cale Boyter, and no director is attached at this point.

Dinklage can be seen as Bolivar Trask, the inventor of Sentinels, in Fox's upcoming superhero movie X-Men: Days of Future Past.
