Paramount Wants Sean Harris to Play the Bad Guy in 'Mission: Impossible 5'

Sean Harris

Mission: Impossible 5 has already begun filming, but strangely the main villain role is still vacant. That's about to change though as Paramount and Skydance Productions are in talks with British actor Sean Harris to play the part, according to Deadline.

Harris, should he accept the mission, will join a cast that includes Tom Cruise, Rebecca Ferguson, Jeremy Renner, Simon Pegg, Alec Baldwin, and Ving Rhames.

Plot details are under wraps, but we can bet the movie will have its fair share of infiltrations, computer hacking, disguises, and, of course, explosions.

Christopher McQuarrie is directing from a script written by Will Staples. Iron Man 3's Drew Pearce wrote an earlier draft.

Mission: Impossible 5 will be in theaters on December 25, 2015.
