Ophelia Lovibond Joins 'Guardians of the Galaxy'
With Guardians of the Galaxy shooting this June over in London, the movie is in the process of gathering its cast. The latest to be added is Ophelia Lovibond, who will join the movie in a mystery role, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
With rumors that The Collector will make an appearance, there are speculations that Lovibond may play his daughter, Carina. The Collector is a space-faring immortal being, one of the earliest in existence, who likes to collect rare things, be they objects or living creatures. Of course, that's the rumor, so none of this may be true.
Lovibond will join Chris Pratt (Peter Quill aka Star Lord), Zoe Saldana (Gamora), Dave Bautista (Drax the Destroyer), and Michael Rooker (Yondu).
Of the Guardians, Rocket Raccoon and Groot have yet to be cast. These two will most likely be CGI characters so whoever ended up playing them will be providing their voices to the characters.
James Gunn is directing the movie, which is set for an August 1, 2014 release.
