New 'Anchorman 2' Trailer Features 100 Percent More Scorpions

Will Ferrell and Adam McKay have had nearly a decade to come up with another couple hours of inspired lunacy for the Anchorman crew to goof their way through, and it looks like they've put that time to good use: the second trailer for the upcoming Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues is easily the most delightfully absurd 158 seconds you'll spend all day.

We already knew that the sequel would find Ron Burgundy (Ferrell) and his cohorts making the jump to cable news via some cushy new gigs at the GNN Network -- a setup rife with opportunities for more of the racism, sexism, and overall tomfoolery that they pulled off with such giggle-inducing aplomb in the original. This clip doesn't really give away any major plot points, but it does make room for lots of laughs -- as well as one rather inspired set piece involving a Winnebago, a bag of bowling balls, and a passel of angry scorpions.

Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues is due to arrive in theaters on December 20. Get the party started below:
