Michael Mann Adds 'Lust,Caution' Actors to His Cyber Thriller

Tang Wei

Wei Tang and Leehom Wang are joining the cast of Michael Mann's untitled cyber thriller, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The pair will play siblings, with Tang being the love interest of Chris Hemsworth's character.

An earlier report suggests the movie may center on this pair of Chinese siblings.

Mann was also talking with Nick Cheung Ka-fai and Shawn Yue Man-lok, so they may appear in the movie as well.

This untitled thriller will revolve around a US-China joint task force trying to bring down a Balkan hacker based in a Southeast Asian country. Mann is directing from a script he wrote with Morgan Foehl, and production is set to begin in June.

Details are scant, but from the bits and pieces, Hemsworth may be playing a hacker, who is strong-armed into this task force to hunt down this cyber terrorist.

Holt McCallany is playing a US Marshal in charge of keeping Hemsworth in line, and Viola Davis is on board as an FBI agent.
