Leslie Mann Boards New Line's 'Vacation' Reboot

Leslie Mann

Leslie Mann is joining New Line's Vacation reboot cast as Audrey Griswold, the sister of Ed Helms' Rusty Griswold, according to THR.

John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein are directing from their own script, and filming is scheduled to begin this week in Atlanta.

The original 1983 comedy starred Chevy Chase and Beverly D'Angelo as a married couple who took their whole family on a road trip to the Walley World theme park, but along the way, things didn't go as planned. In this sequel/remake, Helms is playing their grown-up son Rusty, who will also be making a similar trip to Walley World with his family.

Christina Applegate is on board to play Helms' wife, with Skyler Gisondo and Steele Stebbins playing their sons. Chris Hemsworth will play Mann's husband Stone Crandall, an up-and-coming TV anchor. Charlie Day will cameo as a river rafting guide.

New Line has not set a release date for the new movie.
