Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Seth Rogen, and Jonathan Levine Reteam for Untitled X-mas Comedy

50/50

Jonathan Levine, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and Seth Gordon collaborated on the 2011 comedy 50/50, and it looks like they'll reunite for an untitled X-mas comedy for Sony.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the comedy will revolve around three childhood friends who gather in New York City for their annual get-together on Christmas Eve. JGL and Gordon will play two of the friends.

Levine will direct from his own screenplay, and a summer production is planned.

After 50/50, Levine went on to direct Warm Bodies, an odd romantic comedy/horror movie about a young woman falling in love with a zombie. Surprisingly, Warm Bodies made over $116 million at the global box office, while costing only $35 million to produced.

Levine's movies are relatively cheap to produce so expect the budget for this untitled comedy to be in the $35-$45 million range as well.
