James Spader is Ultron in 'The Avengers: Age of Ultron'

James Spader is not someone one would cross the street to avoid, but he will become someone even Earth's mightiest heroes will have trouble dealing with in The Avengers: Age of Ultron. He is Ultron, Marvel has announced.
Spader is probably best known for his TV work in series such as The Practice, Boston Legal, and The Office. He has a new series called The Blacklist coming out in the fall on NBC in which he plays a fugitive helping the FBI to bring down dangerous criminals. He was last seen on the big screen in Steven Spielberg's Lincoln.
In the comics, Ultron was created by Henry Pym aka Ant-Man, but the robot's origin may differ in the movie, according to director Joss Whedon. Ultron won't have all the powers he had in the comics as well.
The first movie made over $1.5 billion at the global box office and is the third highest grossing movie of all time after Avatar and Titanic.
Production for The Avengers: Age of Ultron is set for early 2014 for a May 1, 2015 release. Whedon will direct from his own script, and the director has hinted that he might or, at least, thought about killing off a member of the Avengers in the sequel.
