"Hit & Run"

On the “Opening This Week” section on the left sidebar of the homepage, we’re including Facebook Likes figures along with the Tomatometer.

Before the movies open, you can see which is most anticipated by Facebook users. The total number of Likes a film receives shows which is the most popular and the daily number shows which is gaining traction.

This week’s wide releases are fairly close. “Hit and Run,” “Premium Rush,” and “The Apparition” each have between 90K-115K total number of Likes. “Hit and Run” is tops with 114.5K Total Likes; “Premium Rush” has 97K; and “The Apparition” has 92.5K.

In terms of Daily Likes, “Premium Rush” is tops, with 2.5K Likes added yesterday. Then comes “Hit and Run” with 1.5K, and “The Apparition” with 1.1K.

These aren’t huge numbers. Last week, "The Expendables 2" had already racked up about 2.5M Likes total and added 15K-30K Likes daily. Expect it to top the box office for another weekend.

Let us know what you think of the new feature or if you have any suggestions.
