Hugh Jackman to Play Wolverine Beyond 'The Wolverine 2'?

The Wolverine

Hugh Jackman has previously said that if there's another Wolverine sequel, he's "99.9 percent sure" that it would be his last. Seems like he may have spoken too soon.

When asked by the Associated Press (via TheWrap) at the X-Men: Days of Future Past premiere in Beijing, Jackman appears to have backtracked on that statement.

"I think I might have overplayed my hand a little bit by saying I'm almost sure that the next one will be my last," Jackman said.

The untitled Wolverine sequel is currently dated for release on March 3, 2017 so that's a lot of time between now and then and a lot of time for minds to change. Until then, looks like Jackman will play Wolverine in a couple of movies still.

X-Men: Days of Future Past will be in theaters next Friday.
