With a career as legendary as Ed Harris's, it's a little surprising he hasn't leant his voice to an animated character before. He played Mission Control in Gravity and did the Call of Duty: Black Ops video game, but Planes: Fire & Rescue is his first animated character. In the sequel to Planes, Dusty becomes a firefighter and Harris plays the helicopter named Blade.

Jerry Bruckheimer has said that the long-awaited sequel to Top Gun would involve drones. In 1986, Maverick (Tom Cruise) was the hottest top gun in the skies, so now we have to wonder if Maverick is still the top gun against drones. Jerry Bruckheimer settled the debate for me even before the movie has started production. "Well, I think he can think on his feet where the drones can't," Bruckheimer said.
