he first two Taken movies have grossed over $600 million at the global box office, and a third one is on the way, but what will they do for the three-peat? Bring on Forest Whitaker, of course.

Deadline has heard that Whitaker is in talks to board the movie in an unspecified role. Maybe his character will be to Bryan Mills as Samuel L. Jackson's Zeus Carver is to Bruce Willis' John McClane in Die Hard With a Vengence. More likely, he'll play a CIA agent who'll either help or hinder Mills.

Liam Neeson will return as retired CIA agent Mills, and he will be paid around $20 million to do so.

Olivier Megaton, who directed the second Taken movie, will return to direct Taken 3, with Luc Besson producing. No release date has been set.

Maggie Grace and Famke Jenson, who played Mills' daughter and wife, are also expected to return for the third movie.
