First Full-Length 'Riddick' Trailer Delivers the Pitch Black Goods

Riddick didn't get where he is by being a relaxed, friendly, happy-go-lucky guy, so it should come as something of a relief to fans of the Vin Diesel-portrayed sci-fi antihero that his next outing -- the simply titled and long-promised Riddick -- will find the character doing exactly what he does best: Working alongside people who sort of hate him in order to slay teeming hordes of gross space monsters.

For visual proof, look no further than the first Riddick trailer, which might give away what looks like the whole damn plot, but at least it does so in style -- and anyway, no one goes to these movies because they're all that interested in what goes on between the fight scenes. What really matters here is that Riddick will clearly be quite busy killing stuff.

If you like what you see here, take note: Riddick is due to arrive in theaters on September 6, 2013.
