Everybody Was Kung Fu Fighting in the New 'Wolverine' Footage

The Wolverine

We've been taught to temper our expectations when it comes to seeing Wolverine on the big screen, but Fox really wants you to get excited about James Mangold's The Wolverine, and they've just unleashed the Comic-Con footage that's supposed to make it happen.

Unlike Guillermo del Toro's Pacific Rim Comic-Con clip, which essentially functions as another trailer, these bits of Wolverine are more of a quick-cut advertisement for the movie's apparently extreme violence quotient. Of course, he isn't the type of character you generally expect to sit around discussing his feelings, but this footage has more butt-kicking than you can shake a "snikt!" at -- and if it doesn't quite put Hugh Jackman on full berserker rage display, it definitely makes it clear that Wolverine is pretty pissed off this time around.

Have a look below, and keep your claws sharpened for The Wolverine's debut on July 26.
