Pete Doctor

Emotions will be given form and life in Pete Doctor's secretive and still untitled forthcoming animation feature at Pixar, John Lasseter revealed in an interview with Charlie Rose. Those emotions will belong to a, presumably, young girl and the movie will be "unlike anything you’ve ever seen," Lasseter teased.

From the sound of things, it looks like the movie may be similar to Osmosis Jones, except that the location will be the brain and the characters, instead of antibodies and other cells, are emotions personified. In that respect, there are some similarities with the Care Bears as well. We'll have to wait for more details to know what the story is ultimately about, but until then, all we can do is speculate.

Pete Doctor is the director of other Pixar hits such as Monsters, Inc. and Up. His untitled movie is scheduled for release on May 30, 2014.
