Either Rebecca Hall, Emily Blunt, or Rooney Mara Will Join Johnny Depp in 'Transcendence'

Yesterday, TheWrap has found out that Johnny Depp will play a supercomputer that can think for itself in the sci-fi movie Transcendence.
According to a recent script obtained by the publication, Depp is playing a computer scientist named Will, who along with his wife Evelyn and another scientist named Max, is trying create the first self-aware computer. Somewhere along the way, Will dies and his brain/conscience is uploaded to this supercomputer by his wife. Then that computer is connected to the internet...
Of course, all this may change as the script goes through revisions.
As for who will be playing Evelyn, Deadline has learned today that the list for the role is down to three actresses: Rebecca Hall, Emily Blunt and Rooney Mara. Blunt's schedule with All You Need Is Kill may prevent her from being available for the movie though.
Oscar-winning cinematographer Wally Pfister is making his directorial debut with Transcendence and will work with a script written by Jack Paglen. Production is set for March 4, 2013.
