Ok, I know from TV Spots that I, Frankenstein is from the creators of Underworld, but do you they have to copy the latter film’s poster too? They’re pretty much the same, except Underworld’s is a bit more zoomed in.

Speaking of Underworld, I was wondering what figure the latest one would finish with. With Kate Beckinsale’s return and a budget of $70M -- a significant increase from the previous entries -- Underworld Awakening actually went on to do significantly better at the box office worldwide.

The vampire vs. werewolf action/horror hybrid took in $160M, which is about $60M more than each of the previous installments. Looks like the cast and budget upgrades paid off.

I, Frankenstein cost just as much as Underworld Awakening, but will it do as well? Instead of vampires and werewolves, I, Frankenstein features a war between gargoyles and demons. Will Underworld fans flock to watch gargoyles fight demons? Lionsgate hopes so.

I like the Underworld films, so I am curious, but not enough to catch it in theaters; I’ll wait for video, unless it gets decent reviews.
