'Captain America 2' Director Shortlist: George Nolfi, F. Gary Gray, Anthony and Joseph Russo

According to Vulture, a list of ten directors for the Captain America sequel is now down to three. The ones remaining on the list are The Adjustment Bureau's George Nolfi, The Italian Job's F. Gary Gray, and the directing pair of You, Me and Dupree's Anthony and Joseph Russo.
So where's Joe Johnston on that list? He directed the first movie and it was a critical and financial success. The movie has a Tomatometer of 79% and made over $368 million at the box office worldwide. Paramount would want him back to direct the sequel, right?
Johnston is currently filming the low budget thriller Not Safe for Work for Universal. The movie stars Eloise Mumford as a paralegal trapped in a building with a killer on a mission to destroy some files hidden there.
He should be done with Not Safe for Work by the time Captain America 2 is ready to roll. If he's not returning, this means...
Joe Johnston is going to do Jurassic Park IV next, most likely right after he's done with Not Safe for Work.
Universal announced that they're re-releasing the first Jurassic Park in theaters on July 19, 2013 back in March, and I speculated that the Jurassic Park sequels will also get the 3D treatment and be re-released in theaters as well, leading up to the release of Jurassic Park IV.
As for the three choices on the list to direct the Captain America sequel, the one that stands out are the Russo brothers. They worked most in TV and are known as comedy directors. I don't believe Captain America 2 is heading in that direction in any way, shape, or form.
