'Brick Mansions' Trailer: Paul Walker Enters District B13

Brick Mansions

Brick Mansions, a remake of District B13, was originally scheduled for a February release, but with Paul Walker's death, the movie has been moved back to April 25th. Check out the trailer below.

The movie stars Walker as an undercover cop who has to infiltrate an area controlled by criminal elements in order to disarm a neutron bomb. David Belle, one of the stars of District B13, returns to pretty much play the same role in Brick Mansions. RZA and Catalina Denis round out the cast.

Luc Besson is one of the producers, and he co-wrote the screenplay with Bibi Naceri. The movie is directed by Camille Delamarre, the editor of The Transporter 3 and Taken 2.

District B13 didn't do well when it was released, managing to snare in around $10 million at the global box office. The English-language remake will certainly do better than that, but will it perform well enough to make back the $20 million production budget?

Brick Mansions will open against The Other Women, The Quiet Ones, and Walk of Shame on April 25th.
