You think you're busy? While you whine about your schedule, Ridley Scott runs circles around you, wrapping up work on his December Biblical epic Exodus: Gods and Kings while prepping for the Matt Damon-led sci-fi drama The Martian and guiding pre-production on sequels to Blade Runner and Prometheus.

Scott talked about those latter projects during a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, revealing that they both might be further along than we'd previously thought. In fact, they both have working screenplays, and unless something else comes along, Scott's entertaining the notion of filming the Blade Runner follow-up after he finishes The Martian.

"It’s written and it’s damn good," he said of the Blade Runner sequel script. "Of course it involves Harrison [Ford], who is a survivor after all these years ... So yes, that will happen."

EW notes that Ford's representatives declined to comment regarding his apparent attachment to the project, but that doesn't necessarily mean anything; as anyone who's ever seen him on a talk show could tell you, Ford's elevated reticence to an art form.

Of course, timetables are fluid in Hollywood, and Scott admits that he has "a lot of ducks in a row" -- but for fans eager to see follow-ups to both films, this is an encouraging sign nonetheless.
