Ben Stiller and Shawn Levy Return for 'Night at the Museum 3'

Ben Stiller & Shawn Levy

Ben Stiller and director Shawn Levy will reteam for a third Night at the Museum, according to Fox (via Comingsoon). Stiller will reprise his role as Larry Daley, a security guard at a museum where the exhibits come to life during the night.

No word on who else will join Stiller in Night at the Museum 3, but Fox has already staked the movie for December 25, 2014.

Levy is currently in post for the Owen Wilson-Vince Vaughn comedy The Internship, which is scheduled for release on June 7th this year.

It is unknown if Levy will direct Night at the Museum 3 first or the Warner Bros. comedy This Is Where I Leave You, but since the latter won't involve much, if any, special effects, the shoot ought to be relatively quick.

This Is Where I Leave You will star Jason Bateman, Jason Sudeikis, Malin Akerman, Zac Efron and Leslie Mann.

The previous two Night at the Museums combined to make nearly $1 billion at the global box office.
