'The Avengers' Returns To Theaters With New End Credit Scene?

According to The Avengers' Facebook page (via Bleedingcool), the movie is returning to theaters for a week-long run beginning this Friday.
The movie already made over $1 billion at the box office worldwide, $618 million of that in the States alone, so there are very few people who want to see the movie in theaters and haven't.
Disney must have realized this as well because the copy for the notice is, “See It Again On The Big Screen This Labor Day.” The picture accompanying the copy is a mug shot of Thanos, a super villain who will no doubt play a major role in one of Marvel's forthcoming superhero movies.
The second bit of news is that there may be a new end credit scene in the re-release, as suggested by the Facebook post telling viewers to sit through the end credits.
This makes sense since most of the viewers have already seen the movie in theaters and so telling to them to sit through it again must mean there's something new there, perhaps more footage of Thanos.
If there's anything new in The Avengers, we'll no doubt hear about it on Friday.
