'23 Jump Street' Moves Forward

Rodney Rothman, one of the three credited writer for 22 Jump Street, has been hired by Sony Pictures to pen the script for third Jump Street movie, according to Deadline.
Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill are both expect back to reprise their roles and are producing the movie with Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, and Neal Mortiz.
It is unclear if Lord and Miller will be directing the third installment, but they just need to give the word and the job is theirs.
22 Jump Street was made for $50 million and was a huge hit both critically and commercially, with the movie grossing $320 million at the box office worldwide.
The second movie ended with Ice Cube's character telling Jenko and Schmidt that they're going undercover at a medical school so the forthcoming sequel may pick up there.
