darkhorizons.com Woody Allen’s memoir “Apropos of Nothing” hit the market the other day to little fanfare, even after the book’s original publisher refused to distribute it. Some however, like Page Six, have picked it up and read the work which covers Allen’s entire career including the recent controversies. One name that comes up unexpectedly is “Call Me By Your Name” breakout Timothee Chalamet. Chalamet starred in Allen’s recent film “A Rainy Day In New York” which was set to be released by Amazon Studios before the filmmaker’s comments about the #MeToo movement resulted in the film being indefinitely shelved until Allen ultimately got the rights back. Chalamet and other actors came out against the filmmaker, with the young actor donating his salary for the film to charities tied to the #MeToo movement.
