wegotthiscovered.com While some believe The Batman is trucking along at a glacial pace, others are willing to give writer-director Matt Reeves as much time as he needs to craft the Caped Crusader’s next solo adventure. I find myself siding with the latter camp more often than not, as a character like Bruce Wayne deserves to be handled with care and craft – not to mention the fact that Reeves will have to conjure up something a little different so that his Batman is able to stand out from the crowd. So while there’ve been rumblings that The Batman‘s first script was expected imminently, industry tipster Umberto Gonzalez is now reporting that Matt Reeves won’t be in possession of a tangible screenplay until after Labor Day (September 3rd) in the States. That’s not to say that The Batman has been hit with a slight delay – far from it, in fact, as Reeves has previously stated his desire to have the cameras rolling by summer 2019 at the very latest.
