bleedingcool.com Here’s two new bits of casting news, conveniently tied together by one actor. According to an article over at Deadline, South African actor Sharlto Copley has been closed his deal to play the villain role in Spike Lee’s adaptation of Oldboy. The role was previously offered to Colin Firth, Christian Bale and Clive Owen, all of whom eventually turned it down.In Park Chan-Wook’s film, the main antagonist was Lee Woo-Jin (renamed Adrian Pryce for the American adaptation), played with an equal amount of charisma and creepiness by Yoo Ji-Tae.
