Get this: Edwin (yes, just Edwin) says he has "always made the right Oscar predictions since I was very young." But rather than chose to be an Oscar prognosticator, he decided to make movies because he loves them. When he was young he heard about a film school in Jakarta, Indonesia (the Jakarta Institute of Arts) and "felt I had to see it and try to study there." The rest is history; Edwin's films include "Kara, Anak Sebatang Pohon," the first Indonesian short film screened at the Directors Fortnight in Cannes, "Trip To the Wound," "Hulahoop Soundings," and "Blind Pig Who Wants To Fly." He brings "Postcards from the Zoo" to Tribeca 2012.
