A former acquisitions executive at DreamWorks, Rembert entered the industry 25 years ago after Kennedy hired her at Spielberg's Amblin Entertainment. She later served as a senior vice president of development at GK Films. But the company shrunk after a series of flops, including Martin Scorsese's "Hugo" and Angelina Jolie's "In the Land of Blood and Honey."
