The Kennedy/Marshall Company named former GK Films executive Grey Rembert as president of production in the wake of Kathleen Kennedy's departure, the company said on Thursday.
A former acquisitions executive at DreamWorks, Rembert entered the industry 25 years ago after Kennedy hired her at Spielberg's Amblin Entertainment. She later served as a senior vice president of development at GK Films.
But the company shrunk after a series of flops, including Martin Scorsese's "Hugo" and Angelina Jolie's "In the Land of Blood and Honey."
