Highlights of American indepenent film include screenings of Richard Linklater's"Bernie"; Dennis Lee's"Jesus Henry Christ"; Bruce Beresford's"Peace, Love & Misunderstanding"; and the documentary "Marina Abramovic: The Artist Is Present." Screenings will be separated into four categories: Official Selection of American Independent Films; French Galas; American Galas; and Oscar Nominated Foreign Language Films & Shorts. Festival President Sophie Dulac says the festival aims to bridge the gap between the worlds of American and French independent film.
