darkhorizons.com If the first season of “Daredevil” and “Jessica Jones” were an example of the best of Marvel and Netflix’s TV collaborations, then the first season “Iron Fist” would rank towards the bottom – saved mostly by the even worse “Inhumans”. Now those in charge are trying again with a new season with new showrunners, a shorter ten-episode run and a post-Defenders Danny Rand (Finn Jones) who has been much better received in his recent guest-starring stint on the second season of “Luke Cage”. Additionally the show is responding to criticism, pulling in “Luke Cage” regular Simone Missick’s Misty Knight to team up with Jessica Henwick’s well-received Colleen Wing and expanding on the minor character of Dacos (Sacha Dhawan) who becomes the villain Steel Serpent in the new season. After the second seasons of “Jessica Jones” and “Luke Cage” proved a disappointment, it’s hoped this will be something of a course correction.
