Sony Pictures Prevails In 'Midnight In Paris' Lawsuit Over Faulkner Quote
deadline.com “We were confident that the judge in this case would get it right, and he did”, a Sony rep told Deadline in response to the studio’s victory today in the Midnight In Paris lawsuit. A federal judge in Mississippi today ruled Sony Pictures Classics (read it here) had the right to use a nine-word quote from William Faulkner’s Requiem For A Nun in Woody Allen’s 2011 film.

Midnight in Paris Synopsis and Credits
