New 'Blade Runner' Movie Update From Ridley Scott

screenrant.com – Speculation concerning Ridley Scott’s planned return to the world of Blade Runner heated up earlier this week, when (now debunked) new reports emerged, claiming that Harrison Ford is in talks for the film. False though it may have been, that story still calls attention to just how little concrete information has been released about the sci-fi project in general – not to mention, where it’s at, in terms of pre-production.

Blade Runner sequel Synopsis and Credits

Ridley Scott has signed on to direct a new "Blade Runner" movie which the director admitted is liable to be a sequel. Scott has said that no one from the original movie will be returning in the new movie. It will be based on entirely new characters. A screenwriter has not be assigned to the movie as of Jan 10, 2012.
