darkhorizons.com A little over two months after he signed onboard, filmmaker Breck Eisner ("Sahara," "The Crazies") has dropped out of "The Karate Kid" sequel at Sony Pictures. Eisner has cited scheduling conflicts as the reason for the departure. The project isn't going away though as two new writers, Jeremiah Friedman and Nick Palmer, have come onboard.
